Well, I finally got my mill out of the weather. I will try to give you a blow by blow report. (just goofed the last one up)

Got my posts set, 6x6 pressure treated, set below frost line.

Here is the detail of the beam extension I made, to clear my log deck. The main headers are "engineered" floor joists.

Here, the rafters and bracing are  installed.

The finished product.  I still would like to run electric to it. 8) 8)

Happy for you!  looks great!
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

NICE!! Looks good. How long of a span is that? I started my sawshed a few months back. Got some red dirt, got it all spread, and that's as far as I got. I need to figure something for a 20' span for the log deck.
I would say absolutely run electric out there.
     Good job.

I like it!! The engineered beams give it an interesting look! Looks like a nice Oliver there too???
I'm so far behind, I think I'm ahead!

Good job! Looks great! Now you can saw in the shade and the rain.

Having shelter is a nice thing.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

Nicely done. A little improvising can go a long way.
Think like a farmer.

     Good job.
My whole shed roof is only 24' and the normal spans are 12'. I extended the length at my log deck by 3' so that is 15'. My mill will only cut 12 footers, maybe could squeeze on a 14, but I would be producing sawdust before I got it dogged.
