I'am getting a gooseneck dump trailer for my 3/4 ton truck to deliver wood in I'am wondering what gooseneck hitch is the best

Ford_man

I have had two hitches the first was a plate with a ball welded to it,not a good deal . I now have a B&W turnover hitch that I like, I did learn not to put the ball down in the receiver if you are going to haul, like sand or that type material. You will have a hard time getting the ball out to turn it up to use it. that was my only complaint with the hitch. splitwood_smiley

I have a b&w turnover ball it works great. When I was looking for a gooseneck hitch it was top rated and is rated at 30k I think. I pull a 14 foot gooseneck dump with about 6 ton of wood in it, I've weighed a few loads at the neighbors scale to try to keep it legal weight glad I didn't get the 16 footer.
