It pays to keep the sawmill area clear, all right.  A couple of years ago a friend nearly lost his mill when his wife decided to burn slabs.  I think a chipper is going to be my next investment. Safer than burning, and I might even find a use for the chips.

Hey Dave,
I piled branches all year then rented a chipper and made sweet, sweet mulch. Of course this was not cheep but I got 15 friends to help feed so in the end it was worth it. Now if I had one I could use as I went that would be the best. If you can find a deal go for it!
