Has anyone put Jorals non contact mesuring system on there Fabtek 4 roller head.  How does it work and is it worth the money.

I have not heard of it either.  Definately interested in hearing more

You can see the pieces on there website.  loggingencoders.com   It takes out the shaft that runs the encoders and puts in a magnetic wheel and the new sensor is just a pick up so now you don't have a mechanical conection to the sensor so a lot of the vibration and impact is taken away from the encoder.

We are still in the testing phase on our new head, but this is what we went with. Seems like the way to go.

Are you testing a new fixed head or dangle head?
