The wife wanted one so I made one red oak

  

 

I thought It came out not to bad, first time with raised panels , I had to match the kitchen cabinets that are store bought :D :D ;D

Yes, the cat approves, too!  Great job.  It is amazing how much you will use it, and you won't be able to understand how you did without it  ;D.  You did a great job on the match, too.

only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Looks real good. Is it permanet or moveable?

thanks all, moveable  but to me it's in the way I have to go around it to get to the sink, I like it better with out it, but it's her house :D :D she don't tell me how to set my barn up or the mill barn :D

how do you make theraised panels? Do you start with a whole flat piece and router out the panel or what..i have no clue  ??? haha but im really interested in starting to make some things likes this and cabinets and anything pretty much..ive made a clock, barn door cabinet, movie holder,and a few odds and ends  :D

You use a raised panel router bit in a router table, at least that is how I have done it.

 There is also the stile and rail router bits that one needs. Also very recomended use of router table top do this.  :P

I have a shaper with all the bits

 

the shaper and the radial saw are in line, works good, I don't have a pic of the carbide bits

when I set the bit for the raze panel I use w pine to set it, then grab the r oak and push it through :o :o :o, wow that's not going to take that much wood off in one pass, I had to reset the shaper and take a little wood off at a time till I got to where I wanted to be
