Congratulations on getting a great machine, Jake. With an operation as big as yours, I'm sure it will be put to very good use.

A friend has been storing his NH skid steer in my barn for a couple of months. He tossed me the keys and said "run it like you stole it".
I am a little embarrassed at how many hours I have put on the machine in those 2 months.  :D
Woodmizer LT40, wish it was hydraulic.

Jake, nice score!

I'll give you a hint; if when the 1-1/2" round bar bends that supports the forks, replace it with cylinder rod from hydraulic cylinders instead of normal cold roll steel. It will support more load w/o bending.

Jake get one of those grinder attachments and bring it up to Tenn next time you stop by! We can see how it works cleaning up some of my woods.:D

Jake, you know how hard Bill is on borrowed equipment in his woods. It tends to burn up. :D

Thanks for all of the replies. There was so many questions that I not sure I will answer them all but here goes.
1st. Bill is not allowed to drive or borrow this one.
2nd. Danny is if I am not looking. :D
3rd. I checked on a couple of different brands but lift, weight, and tires + price were the deciding the factors.
4th. In the second pic, if you were ever wondering what a monkey with a math problem looks like, there you go. ;D

Skid steers are just plain handy. Kind of like a leatherman tool on wheels. Jake, you either have to scuff that machine up and get it dirty, or shine and polish yourself, cause the 2 of you don't match at this point ;D
