What is a fair price for a slightly used MS-460? Thanks

AdkStihl

There are a lot factors that come into play when buying/selling used saws.

Slightly used....site unseen....
No lower than say $550 and no higher than $750. Its overall cosmetic appearance, bar length, wrap handle?, Arctic handles....all play a factor.
3/4 wrap handle and Arctic will add some value.
Do you have pictures?
What about compression? (Min 150psi)

Keep in mind I can get a brand new 460 at my dealer right now (PHO) for $849.

Also check Fleabay for price comparisons.

it's only worth what someone is willing to pay (I know, mr obvious)
I cut it twice and it's still too short

I fell into a great deal on the local CL last year. I bought one with a 25" bar and two chains for $500. The man had purchased it to clean up one tree that had come down in his yard during a nor'easter. I don't think the saw had more than 15 hours on it. That's the cheapest one I've seen advertised around here, and in the nicest condition, too.
