Picked up a 12K Badlands winch at Harbor Freight today, which was on sale today for 300 bucks.  This is my Christmas present.  Spent the afternoon cutting/welding a mounting plate.  Rigging it on 2" stock to fit  2" hitch receivers.  Plan to make it portable to use on the tractor, trailers and pickups.   It's a heavy deal.   Looking forward to see how it works.
