Had a pump failure a while ago and the road was too rough for the big trailer.  Went 18 miles like this, then transferred to the highway rig.   The machine had to be way forward in order to put any weight on the drives.  Also i'm parked on top of a couple pulp sticks to make it a little more sketchy.(trying to not bend the trailer rails.

A little top heavy

That's crazy, that can't be but a 12 ton trailer. I'm pretty sure your processor is a bit heavier than that. You guys got it out of the woods though ;)
Too many irons in the fire

Backing it on would of put more weight on the tractor's drives..

Trailer was a 40ton rated tilt bed.  That's why I didn't back it on.   Call me a pansy but I didn't dare back it up that tilt bed with the pump chattering and ready to cack any moment.
