My dog has been chewing on this piece of wood. She must think it is a piece of meat, I think it looks like a deer head.

LT10G10, Stihl 038 Magnum, many woodworking tools. Currently a farm service applicator, trying to find time to saw!

I had to get up and go to the bathroom.......it's 3:16 am. Stopped by the FF, real quick, just to see what was going on.

I'd keep that one, drill some holes in it, and attach some shed antlers. Great decoration piece.

Maybe the problem is not the knot, but the dog.  It seems that it prefers sawdust over meat.  Maybe the knot was Dogwood  ???

It's hickory, so maybe it tasted like hickory smoked meat ;D
