POSTON WIDEHEAD

I have noticed on Friday nights, there is a little rest time on the Forum. Not many post or replies. I hope it is spent on family time for those that do not have to work. My wife works in an office all week and comes home and cooks or either brings something homes for supper.
I set aside some of my lumber money for her THAT SHE DON'T KNOW ABOUT  :). On Fridays it's her night for steak, Lamb, Shrimp, Crab legs, GRITS  :D or whatever she chooses.
On Fridays, I make myself STOP WORKING at 3 pm to rest and have a shower so I'm ready to go take my wife to a good supper.
Sometimes I have the grill going or have had the smoker going since morning to have supper ready.

Not trying to get personnel but just wondering what's going on on a slow forum FRIDAY NIGHT.

We had a ball tonight.....Grand-Dad kept our son.  smiley_love

Friday night is just like Monday night. I come in when it gets dark. No grits here. My wife stays at home and cooks for other people. We kinda have to stay here until 6 at night for the Veggie business. Wife gets a litle restless and needs to leave The C Farm behind a few hours each week.

Just got back from the county fair.  Going again tomorrow (Saturday).   Wife and I have been taking rides on the Can-Am Spyder on Friday evenings.  We're trying to find all of the ice cream places within an hours ride to home. ;D  Had homemade ice cream at the fair.  8)

Tonight was watching the Tigers beat the White Sox to move within a half game of first place. Wish I could find a video of Verlander sawing a guys bat off with a hundred mile an hour fastball. He didnt even swing at it. Check swing and he was left still holding the knob of the bat and looking at it in disbelieve.  :)

Tonight I was on the roof till dark, finishing up a section. Not my favorite choice, but I need the money. Most friday nights are spent with the girlfriend though, relaxing at home or out on a date. This part of summer, lots of Friday nights are spent at the local fairs.

Gotta work overtime to afford the woman sometimes ;)

Had a few of my youngest daughter's friends over for a last get together before they disperse for their first year of college.  Great kids.  A few are staying over.  It's neat to have watched them grow up together.  Nice night.

Homemade pizza night. We've been sitting here listening to our two youngest giggle. The teenagers are out and about.

Friday nights is when we take the 2 little kids out for take away fish-n-chips or Macca's, last night was special I spent $54 on fresh Jew Fish, "Yamba" King prawns and Balmain Bugs :) and brought them home. My wife and I enjoy a lot of different things - no rituals around here.  Between visiting with family and friends, the garden, the yard and anything to do with logs or the sawmill.  These things are all relaxing to us.  But, one of our favorites is "All you can eat Fish night" down at the Casino buffet.  "King Crab Legs"  Yummmm!

There is no set ritual for us, but we do often make that our "date" night.
