I've acquired a Model 47 McCulloch Chain Saw - It's been sitting in a shed for about 25 years but still in fair condition.  It does have one broken part that the starter rope attaches to.  Anyone have suggestions for vintage McCulloch chain saw parts??

I tried Chainsawr but they don't have the part - it is the drum assembly for the starter, part #19538.  Any other suggestions??

That part number is used on the 3-25 ,4-30 , 4-30A and model 47 if that helps any .

Those old duffers are probabley pretty rare I'd imagine .I haven't seen one in decades .

About the only suggestion I can think of  other than fabricating a new one might be to find a doner on flea bay .

:)  Thanks Al - very helpful.  I've taken all apart and have hundreds of parts on my bench - most look good - a few will need some help.  /Bob
