Good setup also for making octagon post.  Redbeard uses a similar setup.

that works pretty slick Mike. Its pretty much unlimited on making jigs for your mill, let some of your local roofers know that you can make them special size cant strips for them also concrete foundation bus. I have cut preasure treated store bought material for contrators similar situuation what you are doing
