does anyone know the capacity of the planetary on a 92 450b? also what position do you check it halfway or one third? btw newbie here

Dosen't it run out of the plug when it's full? Most everything I own does. That's how I know some of this old equipment is full.

If that machine has the Eaton diff's then you check it with the plug halfway.The capacity of the planetary end will be detirmined by the model because there are a few different planetary wheel ends,and each one as they get bigger holds a little more oil.

thanks guys its not my machine, my boss just bought it. i didnt need to know the capacity as much as what angle to check it. he wants us to use it so we wont wear out his 548g.
