Norwood LM2000 Sawmill For Sale $4000 OBO
« on: June 14, 2012, 08:51:10 am »
I would like to see it with someone who runs it more than I currently do which is about once a month.

I have cut a small timberframe with this mill and some sheathing and that's about it.

The sawhead has always been covered and the mill, with the exception of one bunk that's got a paint chip, appears and functions as new.

Includes a box of WM blades, owner's manual, and an afternoon of training.

This was one of the last LM2000's they sold before the new mills came out and has been perfect in operation since I bought it.

13HP honda starts first or second pull and sips gas.

Asking $4000 obo in northern NJ.  I can split the mill into 3 pieces, throw in the back of my tacoma and trailer and deliver for whatever it costs to transport it and get myself home.

please message me with interest.

Is this mill still for sale?
What size of blade does it take?
What are the maximum log dimensions?
No matter how much conventional wisdom may fly in the face of radical thought, it is still the most popular type.

The little islands are calling my name. . . .

This is back up for sale.
I haven't run it in about 2 years now and it really needs to go to a home where it will be allowed to play with logs all day. I'm stunting it's growth :D

Sawmill will need to be picked up in 07853 with a full size pickup or trailer. I will break it down into 2 sections and the sawhead to get it down off the mtn where it currently lives. It is fully set up currently and can be tested by interested parties.

Notice new price of 4000obo, which is somewhat flexible, but more than fair.

This mill was sold to another member by icolquhoun due to this listing, and so far, no return contact from the seller, so this is a public plea to please contact Tammy about your Forestry Forum commitment.

I'd think the onus is on the seller to see that the FF receives the 5%.

It is always the seller, never the buyer. In my book, this responsibility in non-transferable. The buyer in this case has given us the selling price and contact information we needed to try and collect, and bought the mill in good faith. He has been great with us and has absolutely zero responsibility in this. He should certainly enjoy his new mill with no worries about this.

There is always the chance the seller just has been busy that would answer the question of why no response. We'll be sending an invoice via snail mail to try and make sure he is reminded.

Another dead beat. Received and signed for snail mail invoice a several weeks ago, and refuses any return contact.

I hate this happened jeff. Maybe I can help offset the amount due by
taking something I have made with THIS sawmill and auctioning it here,
full proceeds go to the forestry forum..?
