Sawing 4 fun

Okay, I've got a subject that I would like to gain some wisdom on. That is a Mud Saw or Mud Knocker. I'm trying to find some pictures
of the old style ones where the sawyer would pull down on a rope and lower the mud saw on the log to cut the bark out just before the saw
would made the cut to clean off the dirt . I am trying to build one. I have a lot of ideas in my head and would like to see what one looks
like before I attempt to make one. Maybe someone has a old one that they would be willing to part with. Thank you all for your input.

I do remember now that you mentioned it that Cornell was the name of the co. that made them.
I'll google that and see what I come up with. Thanks for your time!!!
