you should be the judge of your 450 and 55, might want to check youtube for vids of the 455 and 460 to see how well they run, just a thought splitwood_smiley

I brought the 450 about 2 years ago, I got the rancher 55 for free a few weeks ago only had been used a few times, looks brand new. I was just wondering what the specs are I can't find info on the 55.

I found specs for the 455 and 460 Rancher just unsure how close they are to the 55.

It seems to me like the 450 and the 55 are pretty close in about all regards.

I have a Rancher 55 which is built good but rather gutless with a high peaky powerband for 53cc, I hear the closed port versions run a lot better.

I have a 55 and a 455. I think the 455 is more powerful. The 51/55 series seems to be highly regarded and typically sell for pretty good prices even though they are older. I have never used a 350 or 460 so can't provide anything useful on those models.
Too many chainsaws, not enough wood.
Stihl, Husky, Craftsman, Mac, Homelite, Poulan. Some live here, some just passing through.

I always thought the 450 hit a sweet spot in Husky's mid-range saws as far as power to weight goes.  The 455 is a significant increase in weight for not much of a power increase.  However, 50 cc saws don't fit everyone's needs. If I had to have more power than the 450, and couldn't justify the cost of a pro saw, I'd jump to the Husky 460 (if i were staying in the Husky line)

I use my 009 the most now since I have cut down most of the trees around my place that needed it, I also have most of my fire wood cut also. Now I cut up mostly limbs and trim trees, prune fruit trees and what not,

But if I could only use one it'll prob be the 450.
