I pulled the motor out this mornin. Its nice that it has its own little skid on it. I just got to see if I can get it running now. 8)

Wow, you are a brave sole to use a hoe to lift an engine out. I did that once with a pickup engine and it kind-a-sort-a-worked. We must have flexed the transmission shaft and about 6 months later the shaft broke clean off. Lucky I was only a mile from home pulling a trailer and it was not too much work to tow it back home. Boy how I hate doing things twice.

I swapped engines in a IHC 1440 combine a couple of years ago and set up my A-frame hoist on blocks between the rafters in the shed and it was still a tough job. But it worked fine.
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
