I'm putting the finishing touches on my kiln project (long overdue...)

Anyways, I have 3x3 blocks on top of the cart that I made, do you guys that have carts simply run a board along the edge of this to block airflow?  You can see the gaps in the picture below.

 

 



Also, what do you use to block airflow along the ends?  plywood?  canvas?

Plywood as baffling and some 1X material for framing.  Use the coated screws to attach the baffling and framing material.
