The Stool

The stool that we are going to auction off to pay for the pig at this year's pig roast is almost done.

I could post pictures, but that would spoil the surprise.

It's a FF classic. Some awesome quartersawn white oak. A base made of scrap left over from Logrite tools and arches. Which is a piece of artwork itself.

The seat is from a redwood slab that I've been hauling around for at least 25 years.

It's a cool stool and I wish I could keep it myself, but I can't afford to so we're gonna let some lucky forum member walk away with it.

Ah guess Steve is trying to warm us up.  If the stool goes like the other items that I have bidded on, the picture is all that I will get.   :-\

Sorry guys....I have not been feeling well the past few days and I have not finished the stool yet.

We'll see how today goes. I'll get some coffee in me and we'll see what happens.

I don't think that it has to be turned a particular way to be examined.   I have heard that it helps to use a stick.
