Howdy:

Ebay shows several 026's with bids running from $160 to $200 with a "buy-it-now" price of $225.00.  So I would say you did OK with the purchase.

You don't sharpen a chain when it gets dull.  You sharpen a chain to keep it from getting dull.

Good buy, set RPM at about 10,000, in stead of 12,500, run mix at 32:1, keep it clean and sharp, it will run a long time.

I have seen like new stock 026 sale for $100 to $200. Yes $150 for a good clean one is a good buy IMHO.

Its on the upper end of good and clean, they usually run around $100.00 to $150.00 used in this area. I say ya done good ;D. Tim

IMHO, you paid a fair price if it as good as you say. Pretty hard to beat for a firewood/thinning/general use saw.
