I found one on line that a guy want 300 for but I am not sure is that is to much for that old of a saw or not.  And if it is a good running saw, ( not alot of problems).  I already have a Jonsered 2171 which is a thing of beauty with a 20" bar a pulles a 32" bar very nice too.  do I look at getting a larger saw got the bigger bar of saw my money?  I mostly cut firewood and I cut a few bigger tree a year for the saw mill?
Really need some input.

If it runs (has good compression) and isn't badly beat up it's worth $300.00.

but is it something that in a year if I want to sell it I could still get 300 for it or is this a saw I can still get parts for?

it's worth 300. if it looks to be in good condition with good compression, i paid 400. for mine, but it was a good running saw in nice shape (and still is), i'd have a tuff time parting with mine, these saws run awsome, will handle just about anything you throw at it :D
