Rebuilding Husquvna 142e chainsaw!!!

Looking for advice never rebuilt engine- I have new cylnder head, pistion, ring, seals and bearings.???????? ???

Watch how it comes apart real close, clean everything good, put it back toeghter.  Any problems ask on here.    Steve

It's easy Mark - your hardest thing could be finding something to compress the ring/s once you go to slide the jug back on.  They make actual ring compressors, but that's up to you and if you feel confident on doing the job.

Mark, If you took it apart,you can put it back together ;) The hardest part will be sticking the piston and rings into the jug. couple of tips,put a shop rag into the case opening above the crankshaft (before) you drop the wrist pin clips into the bottom of the case. when you have the piston and rings on the con rod and clips in place,get someone to help you drop the cylinder while you compress the rings and insert the piston. also coat the cylinder bore with oil before assembly it helps things slide in easier. and take your time, these are small parts and the rings will break if you force them plus big fingers and small places never seem to work well :D also dont hesitate to ask for help,there is a lot of knowledge on the forum.
