EZ Boardwalk has extensions available for their sawmills, I own the boardwalk Jr. And bought the 5 foot extension for mine when I bought it in order to cut at least 16' lumber. It actually cuts 17' 2" now. I let my friend borrow the mill and he bought another 5' extension for it. I went to the farm show in Springfield Mo. to pick it up and brought it back. Apparently they're not made to bolt extension on extension. There's holes on the back of the mill and holes on the front of the extension, but no holes on the back of the extension. The sucker rod has different overlap as well. They simply weren't made to bolt extensions together. Edward Zimmerman did say he would exchange me two 5' extensions for a 10'er free of charge, but shipping would've been prohibitive. My friend that borrowed the mill drilled two holes and grinded off the extra sucker rod so it has a smooth transition when milling. This is just a "for your information" for ez boardwalk mill owners.

Did Mr. Zimmerman say why the extensions were not addable to each other? I thought maybe the early extensions for the Jr., just were not drilled.

Yes he did say they weren't made to to be added on to another extension. If the new extension would've had holes on both sides, I would've just put it in the middle.

That is a bum deal.  :(.  But thanks to southern engunity you can move on.  By the way we need to get together sometime soon Jake.

Oh, I know. I need to make more time for a social life instead of just working all the time. I need to make time to clean up the shop as well, but I guess that would also fall in the work category.

Who said it had to be social.  Let me know if you have any cedar this way (towards OK) and maybe I could come help you cut it and haul it for a small fee (couple of logs or such.)
I was gonging to call you but can not find your craigslist ad any more.  Repost your ad or pm me you number.  I know the first 6 numbers but not the last 4.

2411 is the last four. I took my ad off cl because I have cedar up to my ears. I had two different people just give me the cedar off of their land. One was opening up pasture and was just going to burn them all in a pile, and the other one was opening up his view of the lake ($$$). He paid a guy to come in and drop the trees and delimb them. Then gave me the logs. I had a call about a guy close to you, but lost his number.
