Looking for advice with my lt10 woodmizer sawmill -  when I clamp the cant in place it wants to roll up about a1/4" and then sometimes I will get a dip in the cut.   >:( >:(

What size logs?

The dip in the cut may be one or two of several things...low band tension, dull band, blade guide out of alignment...maybe just a cussed log...a gnasty gnot can sometimes make a blade dive..

Are you saying the log rolls a quarter inch towards the backstops?

If your cant is moving it likely isn't square, your dogs are out of square, there was debris on the bed rails when you made a cut on the cant, or you could be using too much clamping pressure or clamping too high on the cant.

Make sure too, that the backstops are square to the bed, and tight...head square to the bed as well...
