I cannot find out the construction of the typical Orange Chainsaw boots...Viking, Husky etc...

Do these boots have layers of kevlar to bind up the chain and are the toes steel or composite.

I sent mine to the dump or I would cut them open and take a look...

Viking boots: Layers of rubber and ballistic nylon, CSA#1 Steel toe and shank. They are what folks use here for chainsaw work.
