Can anyone tell me if I can legally transport a couple of white oak logs from Kentucky into Ohio?  The logs have the bark still attached.
Do I need to wait till winter before I can transport these or can I haul them now?
Thanks so much for your help. :)

As far as I know, there are no Federal quarantines prohibiting movement of oak logs from KY into OH.  THe reverse (OH to KY) would be a different story, depending on where in OH, due to the gypsy moth quarantine.  I wuold check with the Ohio Department of Agriculture or the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to see if there are any state laws that might impact this movement.
