too bad u wernt a bit closer... ive got a 1.5 and a 2.5 gal pressure pots for paintin, and liners for them both... lol  , one is setup with brand new hoses (one came from my work, the 2.5 i got for around 100 brand new old stock)

that skidder is goin to take a few gallons !

smwwoody

sorry it took me so long to get back with some answers. We have been putting in some late nights working on it.

It has a 353 in it for power and i paid $3500.00 for it.  It could have went straight to the woods and went to work but I like to know what I am working with.

Once we got it all cleaned up we started fixing all the little things that never get fixed on a skidder when they are working.

first we rebuilt all the shift linkages and put new detent balls and springs in the transfer case.  It shifts like a new one now.

we found the fuel filter housing was unbolted from the motor and hanging by the fuel lines so that got new bolts

More to come after dinner

I'm not up on what 'body' style tree farmers had. Care to share the estimated year of that rig and what its got for accessories..tire size, winch, etc?
It ain't easy...

Closer to a C5.  I put a 9/16 swaged cable on it.  It should last a long time on it.
