I have a Stihl MS391 with a 20" bar.  I am now looking for a second saw to use for cutting up the smaller branches.  What is a good size for this? I always have had only one saw.

I have a MS 170 that I like.  It has a 14" bar.

A Echo CS 400 would fit the bill, built good, light and with  tuning and a mufff modd they really cut, about twice as fast as a MS170 which I also have.  The CS400 is 13# ready to cut, the MS170 is quite a bit lighter.    Steve

Agree with Steve CS400 really wakes up w/MM.  Good saw for the money.

I like to use my MS250 with a 16" bar as my limbing saw. Nice and light and good power for a reasonable price.

I just found the forestryforum this is a great sight to gain some knowledge and learn of other people's experiences with wood cutting equipment.

I have a MS210 with a 16" bar. Weight with the bar/chain, fuel and oil comes in at about 12.14oz
It's no power house but works for limbing. I bought this saw in 2003, it's still being used.
I don't think Stihl makes it any longer.

I just purchased the MS391 with a 25" bar. Cutting up a truck load of logs.
I will post more regarding the 391 performance soon.

Nice to get some honest weights on here, on a good balance scale my CS400 full ready to cut with a 16" bar is right on 13#. As it comes with proper tuning it's a average 40cc saw for power, with a muff modd they cut as fast or faster than my 50cc homeowner saws a Rancher 55 and a 029 Stihl, sold the 029.   Can be  bought new for a bit  over $200 on Ebay .Steve

I run a Husqvarna 385xp westcoast style for chopping and bucking and a Husqvarna 372xp for limbing out

I think something in the 40cc range would be a good small saw.  I have a Husky 142 thats a great little saw.  Its real light and always starts right up, handles limbs with no problem, and has cut my 361 out of a few pinches too.
