Saw this sitting on the roadside. Belongs to a company that works for the electric company, cutting brush/clearing lines. It's got a huge brush cutter on the back. Looks like it would be great in the woods and at the woodlot. Has full skid plates and remotes fr. and rear. Put a small blade on the front and a Farmi on the back, would do awesome.

Franklin County Electric has one  like it with a dozer blade and a  Brown cutter on the back.   Its  pretty  tough Ive seen it   them  hack a good sized tree down a push it.     Have you ever seen an ol Log Hog tractor.   The  had the sheet metal removed and a  heavy  up to 3/ths plate likeness made for a hood and skid plate.     Some had a large center mount grapple   and others had  2 tongs that were swiveled with belts from handles in the  cage.     SOme had a winch and a grapple and   I saw one in Decature AL that had a hydraulic grapple in the center and set of tongs on each side.   They also had a blade on the front  With decking tongs.        I think they were Fords and Masseys  but  all the ones I ever saw were just 2wd.   I have a friend whse dad had one bushhogging a feild full of  Osage orange hedges and privet.   If the tractor pictured  had the Loghog armor it would be a beast

I've not seen this in action, but imagine it's  beast. What you describe would be awesome on a woodlot,....clear the brush, and pull wood safely, with the same machine.

Awesome tractor...reminds me of something out of a Mad Max movie.
What is this leisure time of which you speak?

I meant to add I owned one for about a month.    I bought it from a power company.   THe kept the winch and cutter.    I gave about  9500 for it but a man that was  getting  into the ROW business found out about it.     I needed a mini excavator more than the tractor and sold the tractor to him.     Later he moved up to tracked carriers and sold the tractor after it was on the farm the old   skid plate and cage and guards were all still on his farm last visit there.

There are two on the powerline @ my house. a 6400 series JD and a new holland like that. the JD has 23.1x26 primex logstompers on it. they would be nice for logging :)

That's on the Springfield Rd in Wilmington isn't it?  That belongs to Asplundh.  It's been there since January when the transmission went.  I was working on another tree crew on the same circuit when that mower arrived, worked two days, and broke down.  It takes a hell of a beating mowing in the ROW and the operators aren't too gentle either.  The crew that had been operating it got moved over to Upper Jay and put the power out about two days later.  I wonder if Asplundh remembers it's there.
