Texas:

That is a song we sing at the funeral of every foreigner here.

For my funeral they will also sing the following two followed by free beer for the night.

Here is a photo of Mad Mick singing Amazing Grace at the funeral of a friend from England.

I used to have that wonder lust, but my roots are too deep now, I want Amazing Grace by a single piper to send me over.

Amazing. 4 voices that perfectly matched is just unheard of. The piper stirred my blood even more, but they always do. Must be the scot genes.

Thanks TR.  Gotta love that piper.  When I go to meet up with my darling daughter who died 33 years ago by medical misadventure (OD in the hospital) at the age of four;  Amazing grace and this one by Sarah McLachlan are my requests http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVbkz_3lO3c

That piper gave me goose bumps.

What an amazing way to put such a great song together.

I'm a young'n and hope I have many, many, more years before my time comes but here are a few I've come to like:

I'm not calling anyone an "ole fart" but have to say you do know a lot of things others don't, and for the record Amazing Grace was one of the first songs I can remember knowing by heart, I remember my grandma singing it.  :)

Very nice, TR.  Thank you.
