Yea its really getting bad up here.  I am right on lake michigan and many of the waterways are like this.  The army corps has 2 electric barriers in the canals before the locks to prevent carp from getting into the great lakes like the lamprey eel.   Just about everybody local at Cabellas fishing store has similar stories to this.

That is a lot of large fish for that stretch of water.  Is anyone fishing them commercially in either Illinois or Indiana?  I am right on Lake Michigan too, just south of Wisconsin.  Those fish get into Lake Michigan and there is going to be hugh screams going up from the recreational boaters, along with the fishermen.
