With all the highly venomous snakes you all have down there, I hope he wasn't one...

Better you than me, not much of a snake fan when surprised by them.  Around here a 6ft snake isn't exactly considered a baby, if it was I think I'd be moving  :D.

So what's he doing in the kitchen? Did she refuse to cook him for you?

Watch those spiders AND snakes. That's a big enough snake for me. I share no love for the spiders, either. I got bit on a finger by a Black Widow late last fall bringing in firewood. AND I was wearing leather gloves with no holes in them. Figure that one out for me???

Weisy I'll swap you 2 tigers for your Carpet, stumbled on 2 half grown ones this week spraying Bracken Fern, with the cooler weather down here they're not in a hurry to get out of ya way.

I'm the same too, it doesn't matter if its a python or some venomous thing, I'm no fan of 'em.
Down here all snakes are protected, doesn't matter what the reason is, you're in trouble for dispatching one >:( :(

I got worried when on the farm and had venomous ones around the kids - not enough body mass to get 'em to help if they get bitten, now not so much of an issue as the farm is getting sold.

You can keep the snake Carl...

Don't snakes make the most dynamic dreams?

Much better than a spider nightmare.

That freaks me out, Black Widows are the primary reason I wear gloves. Please tell me it was already in your glove?
My property seems to be a primary breeding ground for them. Kill @ 30-40 a year. The thing that really scares me is my 2 young children...and they love the wood shed!!
