The post below turned out to catch quite a few. A bunch of you had fun with it. Some not so much. I'd like to say I'm sorry to those that did not, but guess what? I'M NOT! :D

It seems this crap always happens at the worst times. Its as if someone has it in for me and knows when I am down and out. :-\  Some how yesterday evening one of the Forestry Forum admin logins was compromised. The rat must have used some sort of brute force password hacking tool ia all we can figure.  I was notified during the night by our server software that an unauthorized I.P. address had logged on to Chet's account.  Looking around I saw that Chet's profile information was changed including his email and his profile picture. As it turns out, the profile photo was replaced with an executable type jpg capable of placing a cookie in the browser of anyone that may have loaded a page that Chet had posted on, and where his avatar was displayed. This cookie then had the ability to recover, decrypt and send anyone's login information to the email address that the freak changed Chet's to.

I was able to find this quickly and close the hole, but have no idea how many people may have been compromised before that.  The easiest way for us to find out was to simply create a test page that could read your browser cookie, then display back to you whether your cookie had indeed been compromised or not.

I'm sorry about this folks. I try my best to keep this crap from happening, but it seems like I am always coming up short. The test link is set up below. :(

Well I'm confused which isn't really that surprising.  :D

When I highlight and then drag the test text over it show a circle with a line through it and doesn't move the word test. Is this the indicator of the cookie and infection?

Possible solutions ta dis problem:

~increase the level of his meds

~decrease the level of his meds

~eliminate his meds altogether  (Might be the best choice)      ;D
