Hi all,

Here is a pic of my current truck.

I am looking to get something newer.  the truck and loader both work great  but it is time to move on.  I would like to stay about the same size.  The truck is a 1989 F800 and the loader is a prentice G model.

One of my questions is who makes a loader about the same size as that old G model?

I want it to be as light as possible with about 18-20 foot of boom and have as much lifting power as the G.

I originally bought the truck just to do a few side jobs and it has turned into a second full time job for me and my son.

The old truck will be for sale when we get the new one if anyone is interested

Thanks

Woody

a G thats still in one peice?i traded mine off 30yrs ago. had a lot of trouble with the tube breaking cracks in the a frame. serco makes a small one. hood used to have a 6000 about that size.

Yea I know what you are saying about the cracks this one has been welded back together a few times. But the hydraulics are in great shape. I just rebuilt both valve bodies, the swing cylinders, the out rigger cylinders and the grapple cylinders last week

in that pic it looks a lot more like a 110

smwwoody

It does look like a 110. That is what I thought it was when I went to look at it but the tag says model GOBC.  Some of the parts I get for it need to be ordered for a 110. Not sure what the deal is there.

Does anyone know the specs for this old loader such as weight and lift capacity?  I want to be comparing apples to apples when I am shopping. The G. Does a great job for me I just want something new in the same class

110 was wayyyy better than a g  but still kinda slow. that have a pulp bucket or bypass?

smwwoody

Pulp if I was going to keep it I would put a bypass on it.

let me know when you want to sell it and how much. ill buy it. i used to have the same loader. if you want a newer one they make a 120,124, and 2124. the 110 and G model are almost the same. my current loader, the H is kinda the same but bigger. they are good loaders. i have heard serco makes the lightest, there are so many it would be hard to choose
