Ok, so fixing up the old stihl probably won't happen, but what about this old baby?

It was given to me and I had it running a few years ago but then it would die out when given any throttle.  It would start up and idle fine.

Suggestions?

Also I really don't know anything about this saw except my uncle used to love his.  How big is it?  55cc???

Thanks.

Dave

What are you doing with yours?  Any suggestions on what to do with mine?

I'm going try to get it running as that that shouldn't be to hard as I suspect a fuel starvation issue (Wont rev)

What is the opinion on these saws?  Were they a solid old saw or the 70's version of the wild thing?

Assuming I can get it running, what might be some mods I could do to it?

Well I put a carb kit in it and it fired right up!  Warmed up and ran good too and I was very pleased with myself.

BUt now it won't start and my daughter came out and needed my attention so it sits in the barn and waits....
