What's up mate, giving us the bloody finger? ;) :D

Ouch!!  I know its not funny.  I hope it didn't require a hospital visit.

That's a fine looking build.  I was wondering if you lifted those beams by hand, before spotting the bobcat.

bugger liften tehm up there by hand, worked out to about 350kg each.

it takes a lot more than that to get me into hospital, last time was when i cut my finger clean off, iv sewn my hand up when it got into a fight with the chainsaw chain since then, a coupla strands of cotton.

at leaste the beams that are left to go up are only light 6x2s

wow, you lifted 350 kg by yourself?  No help?  I always wanted to visit Oz but if you all are that strong and fiesty, no way!   ;)

Don't drop any more of those boards on yourself- I've discovered by trial and error that they just don't bounce off the old body without leaving a mark- dropped a small log on my foot the other day, bruised like crazy but luckily didn't break any bones.  Still sore and maybe a little wiser (not!  :o)

Looks good Carl, I'm pleased those beams came off the saw so nice, would have made that job a heck of a lot harder if they bowed much ;D

And for the record, that finger oopsy of Carls... he doesn't go to the clinic for stuff like that, he's pretty much gotta chop something off to get to the clinic :o

that reminds me my Grandfather cut one of his fingers off in one of those old piston type two head block splitters once Cracked it big time n just picked it up n piffed it down the driveway wrapped his hand up n finished splitting the semi load of wood then went to the hospital where they asked where is the rest of it as we could put it back on as it was a clean cut off at the knuckle  he went the 20mi to get it and as he got there a crow took off with it  :o ;) :D :D :D as he said it was prob better that way as it would never have been the same  ;)

dont think she would be very happy if we set the mill up under there.

cut me ring finger off on the little sawbench one day, wraped it up in an oily rag- went to the local doctor,

recond he couldnt put it back on, i had to go to hospital, even wanted to cll me an ambulace, i drove in myself.

he did insist on removing the rag and bandaging it up.

they put it back on, some of the bone disolved, tehy had to shorten it and remake the joint, its all good now, dosent bend but i dont notice it.
