Anybody got a source for lightweight but strong detachable snatch blocks?  Pulled the biggest Northern Hyd. block apart yesterday snaking trees out of the hollar.  Winch line is 9/16".

The one in the picture is unbreakable but way to heavy.

Larry;
How much money do you have saved up?   :D

Viking

how much weight are we talking about ? I know a place you can get an 8 ton for $40, and if you need more strength in sure you can find someone around there to make you a custom one.

Larry

Kevin,
Forgot to put in my post cheap!  I would like to find something in the $50 range but that may not be possible.  The block in the picture is probably $400 new but I much prefer the garage sale prices. :D ;D :D

Thanks for the links guys.  I'm sure I can find one that will work for me with all those choices. :)
