Welcome sawtasttic to the forum.
Just so you know, the official FF use of the word on the forum is DanG.

Posting pics is not difficult, and once you have mastered the small skill of resizing pics (if java doesn't work for you), you will find it worthwhile in many other applications where pics are managed. The cameras nowadays capture some very large files and unless making wall-sized pictures, most of the megabytes are not very helpful.

And don't give up. It may be similar to the suggestion for someone to use chainsaw pants, and they are not so comfortable at first so they just "give up".
