I just had a beer next door at the restaurant at their family party that will last until tomorrow sometime. This is the family that owns it, the little chubby one in the black dress is the boss. 35 years old and the daughter with the brown dress and big smile is 16 and there are 4 more shorter ones.

Christmas / New year is Summer here, so it has that same sort of tropical feel to it.

Hi Jim, like Ian said, New Year is summer down here, the family are all full of smiles and look happy. Just curious, whats the main dishes on the restaurants menu?

Fried chicken , Baked pork, Deep fried chicken, Turtle , Baked beef , Fried fish or liver. Some times wild pig or venison.

All with salad , rice /boiled potatoes or spegetti and a big bowl of chicken vegetable soup

$0.94 cents US and breakfast is the same without the soup at $0.71 US

And they are raising a family from the income and just put a new cement floor in the restaurant and house.

That all sounds so wonderful they really know how to put on a good feed

you cost of living is unreal!
