  :D :D :D :D I watched the vid and WOW! Do you sound young :) And American :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I do have a question for you Jeff, how will the vid help newbies if it's behind the forum?

Jeff

Behind the forum is just the name of the help section.  The video can also be found by clicking the help link on the forum and then the link on posting photos.

Really, the funny thing is, well maybe it ain't so funny, I've made this tutorial but at the same time I'm working on a completely new system that we may implement some day. I've been working on it since last fall. If we do, the video will be obsolete. :o

Pics of my doggie, except it is Doogie not doggie.
Have to admit it was kind of hard to figure out the pic posting on this website, just like anything else on the computer it takes some time to figure it out. At least if your a dimwit like me :D

D Hagens

So does anyone really know why it's a tough first thing to post pics here? ???
I'm pretty sure I know the answer, known it for a long time. 8)

A mouse I am sure...

The pic posting on this site is not to very difficult if a person is use to manipulating a photo on there computer and knowing how to resize it , java has to be working , it is actually a pretty easy system kind of like riding a bike once you figure it out it is as easy as pie, no problem. I had some pics which would not upload and it was  because the size of the file, smaller jpegs upload no problem the java system is a very very good one and fast. Worth taking a few minutes to figure out :) :)

Mooseherder

Cool Doggies/Doogies. :)
I also think it is easier to rename or "save as" your photos when sending them to "My Documents" and filing in "My Pictures"
before trying to upload because it is so much easier to find when you have thousands of photos in "My Pictures".

Jeff

Generally I change my folder views to large icons or thumbnails so I can actually see the photo.

I've downloaded Java (again) from this site, and when I click the "Upload or insert Photo?" box I get a message that says that Windows doesn't recognize the digital signature. So I click to run it anyway. And the Upload page still does not come up.

I'm running XP on my computer.

Holmes

Hi Jeff  Thank you for the video. It will help a lot of us.   Holmes

Jasperfield , Are you using internet explorer?  Sounds like a windows security issue.  Try using firefox.
