Tom

One of my childhood heroes has passed on at the age of 92.

Bob Feller was before my time. Yet, I read your link Tom.  What a great hero to have, a really amazing record.  A baseball star of today wouldn't likely enlist in the wartime Navy.  I am honored to have stood on his battleship, USS Alabama.  Thank You for sharing.  May he rest in peace.
