Brian, welcome to the forum. I had a LT 15. It was a great mill and made the transition to a LT40 much easier.

I'll shorten  to tmb .I didn't realize everyone would have to type it! So I'll tace care of that and gets some pics up asap. I am cutting mainly southern yellow pine and cedar right now, with the occasional oak slipped in. I'm always up for a challenge, so we'll see what happens!Brian

I don't think anyone has to type your user name. And I'm thinking you can't change it either unless the admins do it for you. :)

We know you now as taylormissbeehaven (that wasn't so bad :) ), and if we use tmb for your handle, most will know who 'tis.
Hope that works for ErikC   ;)

Anytime that I need to type a long name, etc. I just "copy and paste".  "Posted by: taylorsmissbeehaven"   Not a problem.   ;)

I added a photo of my little mill. Shes looking brand new! Pretty puny looking pine on the bed but we all gotta start somewhere. I'll get a gallery going soon. What's the thought on three point chippers. I have a 30hp New Holland and would like to purchase a chipper. I'm just not sure what the best bang for the buck is. Should I go with a three point hitch unit or a self contained pull behind? It's wet around my place and those chips help get me up out of the mud.Thanks. Brian

I wouldn't mind one of them Lt15's. Oh, and this gang has cut me down in size to, it's now SD.  Has been for awhile I guess. :D

Tom is just Tom, we can't downsize him any further. ;D

I'd like to chip brush.Tree tops and limbs. Slabs I can burn and my outdoor wood heating buddies want the pine slabs. I'd like to go the 3 point route just to keep from having to service another engine. I would make the effort if there is going to be a big difference in the two.
