Made in 1952, a portable donkey winch, would have been used to haul boats out of the water or perhaps in the logging industry. Powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine it's complete except for the gas tank.

OK I can get this thing, it's down the road from me. The problem is I have no idea what it's worth! Any ideas? BTW I'm waiting for pics.

I'd say as cheap as you can get it ;) No gas tank, can you hear it run? How much would you use it? These are rare enough I've never seen one for sale, so no price to compare it with. I'd like to see pics, off the top of my head I don't think I would pay more than $200-300 for it if it is in working order.

OK here's the deal with it, I can get this thing cheap as in near free. I'm still waiting for pics from this guy if he ever checks his mail. :o
My plan is to fix it up and donate it to the Fort Langley Farm Museum. One of the guys already said that they would help locate any parts that I might need.
I just thought it would be an interesting piece to save from the scrap pile. :)
