I've decided this dern hobby is making me wacky! :-/ The
conundrum of which chainsaw mill to buy has consumed
WAY too many brain cells  ::)  I like the quality of the
Logosol but not the unwieldy 16' length, log hoisting
requirements and $$...I do like the Woodbug design but
wonder about all the bending down and how come so few
users chime in with comments?  ???

So, I've decided to start off with the new GB "rail" mill and
hope that more wisdom follows experience   8)  Whew!

After all our commentary, you owe us a thorough review of the GB.   It looks great to me.

I cleaned up what is left of  my Granberg frame today.  Looking at the piles of Swamp White Oak and Beech I have ready to cut, your feedback will be eagerly awaited!  Just don't think ye ole' Granberg is going to do much more. :(

Like you,  I just did not want to get into support equipment to move and handle logs.  One day perhaps, but not soon.

Rock Miner.
What will you do with the lumber you want to cut.

If you meet other mills in your area you could trim oversize logs for them, or 2 side cant etc.
