i have a 1972 franklin 132a/xl with a 3-53 detroit  4 speed new process trany. i have searched all over for a clutch and pressure plate with not to much luck. i was wondering if anyone would have an idea on price for the parts or a web link.

Find a truck and transmission repair shop near you and take your clutch and PP to them. Usually they can match it up. Or find a clutch rebuild facility nearby and they can usually rebuild your old one.
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

johnny there is a company called after market parts located in north carolinia that carrys parts for most all skidder brands especially older franklins and timber jacks.i have used them several times however they do not sell direct only through distributors their website is www.rightparts.com call them and they will tell you the name of your nearest distributor if you cannot find the parts locally.
