I just acquired this unit from one of my Clients, who would like me to sell it on his behalf. Therefore I'm seeking as much information about it as possible.

It has the following markings stamped on it:
"GOLDIE McCULLOCH & Co. GALT CW.".

I'm told that the "CW" stands for Canada West, which dates it between 1859 to 1867 (pre Canada Confederation)

Beenthere your eyes must be better than mine because I can't tell anything from a picture that size and angle.

In pre-confederation times, Canada West was Ontario. Galt, Ontario (now named Cambridge) was a major manufacturing centre.
