Greetings All:
I recently got a Hyd- winch(don't know why) ::)off a military truck,It came off a Hummer type,It has 5/16 cable on the spool.
Only thing is there is not any type of tag on it.
I was wonder if any of you can help tell what size of winch is it(pounds)or any thing else about it.Also about what is it worth money wise. For I don't have any use for it.Thanks Mark,,,,,,,,

it could be a milemarker winch.

does it look like any of the winches from their website?

I do not know about newer military hardware, but for years, Ramsey made the winches for equipment that were installed on Deuce and a half's and the like. They have a big line of winches.http://www.ramsey.com/index.html
maybe it is one that they make or made?
Turbosawmill M6 (now M8) Warrior Ultra liteweight, Granberg Alaskan III, lots of saws-gas powered and human powered :D

If recently bought, there were a TON of them on GovLiquidation that were Milemarkers. They sold in lots of 5-10 as I recall.
