I dunno if they are building new, Though there is a Frankin/Tree Farmer dealer 20 miles from me.. But i do know that they have a Refurbish/Reman Program for older machines

I was talking to another logger back in march that said Franklin is no longer manufacturing anymore. He has 2 franklins and was worried about parts for the future. But those are pretty simple machines with common parts so shouldn't be a problem getting them. I still see Franklin listed in our Northern Logger magazine though.

Franklin closed about 18 months ago. Those of you that have old machines might be OK but Franklin started making their own transmissions & rear ends about 2000. Anybody with a young machine is in trouble for sophisticated parts.

They are out of business.  It is a shame, as it was a darn good company, with a really solid product.  Lots of their  machines in the woods around me, and folks like to hang on to their old ones.  That says a lot.

I think the Oliver Stores in Bangor and Farmington are or were Franklin dealers, you might want to check with one of them
