Lee, my wife and I stayed there last year. Not fancy, but plenty nice for country folk. Pretty lake out back.

If it's good for country folk, it ought be just fine for an old Texan turned hillbilly then.  :D

Look's like our probibility of showing up this year is increasing.   We've just crossed the 90% point.   ;D   Just need to decide if I drag the travel trailer along or get a motel room.

Is there anyone from Tennessee or south planning to attend?

We're not south but a little east of you. Looks like Lindy and I will be coming. Just checked and we have reservations for a room at the Lakeside Motel for the nights of the 6th and 7th. :) :) I really am looking forward to meeting a lot of you folks face to face.

Thanks Jeff,
I wanted to know the location.  I will miss this year by 2 days traveling from NW Minnesota to SW Michigan.  Sometimes I go across Michigan and down the entire LP.

Interesting, you are not that far from Houghten and Roscommon then.  Had an aunt and uncle in Roscommon that we used to visit when I was in my teens.  Caught a nice pike while fishing for perch on Houghten Lake.  I remember is as a nice area with a lot of trees and things to do.

Jeff

Yup, Houghton Lake is the next town north on 127. Clare is the next town south.
